Information we collect

We process only the information needed to provide and secure the App:

• Shop and account information: shop domain, Shopify user and session identifiers, authorized-user details supplied by Shopify, locale, granted permissions, and authentication tokens.
• Store resources: product and collection information that a merchant views or selects while creating badge assignments.
• App settings: badge text, colors, positions, assignments, enabled status, and free-shipping-bar goals, messages, colors, and placement.
• Technical information: basic request, device, browser, error, and security logs that may include an IP address, user agent, and timestamps.

Customer data

The App does not request or use protected customer data such as customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, payment information, or order histories. The storefront extension reads cart totals in the shopper's browser and product handles needed to render the progress bar and assigned badges. It does not use this information to identify shoppers or build advertising profiles.

How we use information

We use collected information to:

• Authenticate merchants and provide the App's features.
• Save, retrieve, and display merchant-configured badges and bars.
• Determine plan access and enforce applicable feature limits.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose technical issues.
• Comply with legal obligations and Shopify platform requirements.

We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

How information is shared

Information may be processed by Shopify and by service providers that help us host, operate, secure, and maintain the App. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

Data storage, retention, and international processing

App authentication sessions are retained while the App is installed or while they are needed to provide the service, then deleted when the App is uninstalled or when Shopify sends an applicable deletion request. Merchant-created configuration is stored using Shopify app data features. Limited technical logs may be retained for security, troubleshooting, and legal compliance according to our service providers' retention periods.

Information may be processed in countries other than the country where a merchant is located. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Cookies and similar technologies

The embedded App uses authentication and session technologies that are necessary for it to work securely inside Shopify. We do not use advertising cookies. The storefront extension does not set its own tracking cookies.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Your choices and privacy requests

Merchants may request access, correction, deletion, or other applicable privacy rights by contacting us. The App also responds to Shopify's mandatory customer data request, customer redaction, and shop redaction webhooks. Because the App does not collect protected customer data, customer requests normally produce no App-held customer record.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, our practices, or applicable requirements. We will update the effective date shown at the top of this page when changes are published.
